LITTLE LIFE
LEARNING HOUSE

Competence Builds Confidence

Little Life Learning House is an in-home boutique learning house, offering a full-time learning program thoughtfully designed to bridge the gap between large preschools and private nanny care. We offer the intimacy, flexibility, and deep relationships of in-home care alongside the structure, routines, and social learning of a school setting. With a small group size and a relationship-based approach, each child is truly known, supported, and given the space to grow at their own pace.

With a strong commitment to holistic learning, my approach fosters the intellectual, emotional, social, and physical development of each child.

My philosophy is centered around 5 Core Principles

L3House Values

Nurturing Emotional Intelligence

We are dedicated to nurturing emotional intelligence in every child, recognizing it as the cornerstone of their development. We prioritize creating a nurturing environment where children can freely express their feelings, learn to name, understand, and regulate them, and practice recognizing the needs of others. We see healthy relationships with peers, teachers, and the families of our community as vital components of the learning journey.

Life Skills Development

We believe in preparing children for real-world success by emphasizing essential life skills such as teeth brushing, potty training and healthy rest and sleep hygiene.  Our curriculum integrates practical activities that teach responsibility, problem-solving, cooperation, and self-reliance. These skills not only enhance academic learning but also prepare children for future challenges, fostering a sense of independence and confidence.

Inclusive and Diverse Environment

At Little Life Learning House, we celebrate diversity and promote inclusivity. This preschool welcomes children from all backgrounds, and we incorporate multicultural perspectives into the curriculum. This approach helps children appreciate and respect different cultures, preparing them for a global society.

Individualized Attention

Every child is unique, as as educators, we are dedicated to recognizing and nurturing the individual strengths and interests of each student. We provide personalized learning experiences that cater to different learning styles and paces, ensuring that each child can thrive.

Play-Based Learning

Children learn best through play. Our curriculum is designed to harness the natural curiosity and imagination of children, using playful activities to introduce and reinforce concepts. Through guided play, children develop critical thinking skills, creativity, and a love for learning.

What  Parents Are Saying

The Curriculum

At Little Life Learning House, our curriculum is thoughtfully designed to nurture each child’s individual development rather than being strictly defined by age. We believe every child grows and learns at their own unique pace, and our approach reflects that. By observing each child’s strengths, interests, and needs, We tailor activities and lessons to meet them exactly where they are, ensuring they feel supported and challenged in meaningful ways.

Each week, we focus on one theme within each of our key areas

Social-Emotional Learning, Life Skills, Academics, and STEM.

Children learn best through repetition, structuring the full week around core concepts and repeating activities allows us to dive deeply into each concept, giving the children plenty of time to explore, absorb, and discuss what they are learning. By leaning into these focuses, we create an environment where learning feels exciting, engaging, low-pressure, and predictable, building a strong foundation for security, understanding, and confidence.

MEET
Ms. Jamie and Mr. CJ

Our approach is grounded in meeting each child where they are, keeping cohorts small to form genuine connections, and carving out intentional moments for mindfulness and emotional exploration throughout our daily rhythm. With over 30 years of experience between us, working with children and supporting families we have recognized the importance of social-emotional learning and regulation on the ability to receive and retain information in a learning environment.

With a lifelong passion for childcare, Ms.Jamie brings a well-rounded background as a career nanny, licensed pediatric sleep consultant, and parent coach. Growing up in her family’s home daycare as one of eight children shaped her early caregiving skills, which she has since expanded through experience with infants, twins, teens, and children with autism and complex behaviors. She takes a holistic, individualized approach—considering each child’s temperament, lifestyle, and family dynamics—to create a nurturing environment where children feel truly seen and supported. At Little Life Learning House, her expertise and dedication help children thrive emotionally, socially, and academically while providing families with guidance and peace of mind.
